MIN 2 K.C.P.E RESULTS 2007

The co-ordinator informed the members of the poor K.C.P.E results of 2007.
He asked the cluster co-ordinators of the strong action the D.E.O will take for headmasters who do not improve the results of their schools.
The district was last among the districts of the whole country major reason was seen as lack of committiment of head teachers and teachers.
Ndauni one of our schools was number I among the government schools in the District. Other well-performed schools are:
Menzamwenye, Mwamtsefu, Godo and Mabafweni. A total of 10,612 pupils did K.C.P.E in the district 42 went to National schools, 791 to provincial schools, 2115 to District schools. 7664 pupils were not selected to any school. This is a very big group, which their life is wasted unless they join polytechnic schools.
As Tenda Pamoja we should be a living example of good performance because we have good classrooms and desks compared to other schools.
During the District stakeholders meeting it was agreed that no one will support or defend any headmasters who is not improving his/her school.
The co-ordinator told the members to stick to organization rules such as planting of trees, maintaining cleanness and provision of clean water.
About the promises made by sponsors he told the headmasters to be patient as many sponsors were scared by the political situation in the country. Some of the promises made are: Mahuruni: 1 shade and 100 desks, Menzamwenye- 1 shade Kiwegu 1 shade, Godo 1 shade, 14 stands for bucket of water and benches under shade of trees, Menzamwenye also water buckets and stands plus benches under tree.Bang’a 1  shade,Chindi Classrooms by Mr. Eagle.
